Version 1.0.15 | GW Club Team
Rox Voice Manager adds navigation searches, routes to saved places, spoken weather and Rox Sensors reports to the vehicle’s built-in voice assistant. It runs in the background as part of Rox Premium and has no separate settings screen.
app.organicmaps.auto and download maps for your region beforehand. The standard mobile and debug editions are not selected by this module.Activate the built-in voice assistant using the method available in your vehicle’s firmware, wait until it is listening and say one command. This module has no separate wake word.
Use a short phrase such as “Find [place or address]” or “Route to [place or address]”. Replace the brackets with your destination; do not speak the brackets.
An ordinary address or business name opens search results in the navigation app. Select a result and start the route there. If the request matches a saved place, the assistant sends a route request directly; the navigation app still needs to build the route successfully.
Wait for the result before speaking again. A new navigation command can replace an earlier command that is still being processed.
On compatible firmware, replies appear in the stock assistant window beside its avatar. Weather uses a short line with the temperature and description; wind and humidity remain in the full spoken reply. Route confirmations and error messages also appear as text.
The native conversation is stopped before our reply so the built-in assistant does not speak a competing response. Our reply is then spoken, and its text is sent as soon as the window opens. Weather, route confirmations and error messages appear once for about 4.5 seconds. Closing the window does not interrupt a longer spoken reply. A new interaction cancels updates from the previous reply. The window has one line, so long messages may be truncated. Display support depends on the voice-service version; speech remains available when that version does not support this channel.
For each command, the assistant selects the first available app in this order:
Uninstalled or disabled apps are skipped. Standard Yandex Navigator, Yandex Maps and 2GIS are used only when assigned to the navigation button. Saying an app’s name within the command does not switch the selected navigator.

Search results and route availability depend on the navigation app and its maps.
The supported package is com.google.android.apps.maps. Voice commands do not require the cluster adapter; Rox Premium launches the app through the same path as other navigators.
place=home and place=work entity types, not text searches. Save these addresses in Google Maps first. Google determines the next screen if the address is missing or unavailable in the active account. The phrase tables below describe the previous navigators' search behavior. Google distinguishes searches from explicit navigation commands as described above. Home/work entity handling was inspected in Maps 26.41; other versions need validation.
These phrases apply to the English system language. Substitute your own place names or addresses.
| What to say | Result |
|---|---|
| “Find [place or address]”, “Search for [place or address]” | Search for the place or address |
| “Route to [place]”, “Route for [place]” | Search for a destination |
| “Take me to [place]”, “Drive me to [place]” | Search for the named place |
| “Guide me to [place]”, “Go to [place]”, “Head to [place]” | Search for the named place |
| “Drive to [place]” | Search for the named place |
| “Let's go to [place]”, “Let's go [place]” | Search for the named place |
| “We are going to [place]”, “We will go to [place]” | Search for the named place |
| “Navigator [place]”, “Navigation [place]” | Search for the named place |
| “Find a pharmacy”, “Find a cafe”, “Find a restaurant”, “Find a hospital” | Search for a type of business |
| “Find an ATM”, “Find parking” | Search for another type of place |
Include an action word: say “Find a cafe nearby” rather than just “A cafe nearby”. A category name on its own does not necessarily trigger a navigation command.
| What to say | Result |
|---|---|
| “Home”, “Go home”, “Take me home”, “Let's go home” | Request a route to the saved home destination |
| “Go to work”, “Take me to the office”, “Route to work” | Request a route to the saved work destination |
| “Find Riverside”, “Take me to Riverside” | Request a route to the unique saved place named “Riverside”, if found |
| “Find [home address]”, “Find [work address]” | Search for the address you actually speak |
Home, work and saved-place commands require Yandex Automotive or Organic Maps and destinations saved in the selected app.
| What to say | Result |
|---|---|
| “Find a gas station”, “Find fuel”, “Find benzine”, “Find petrol” | Search for gas stations |
| “Find a gas station nearby”, “Find a pharmacy near me”, “Find a cafe around me” | Request a nearby search |
| “Find a gas station along the route”, “Find a restaurant on the way” | Request a search along the route |
Nearby modifiers are “nearby”, “near me”, “around me”, “close by”, “close to me”. Along-route modifiers are “along the route”, “along my route”, “along route”, “on the way”, “on my way”.
Organic Maps requires GPS for a nearby search and reports that along-route search is unavailable. Yandex Maps and 2GIS receive plain text searches without these dedicated search options.
All of these request the same current weather data:
Save your destinations in Yandex Navigator Automotive or Organic Maps before requesting them by name. Saved places belong to the selected navigation app, so switching apps can change which places are available.
Give each place a short, unique name, such as “Riverside”, then say “Find Riverside”. The spoken name must match the saved title, apart from letter case. Avoid names containing weather phrases or words such as “home”, “work”, “office” and “gas”, because they can trigger a different request.
If several places have the same name, the assistant asks for a unique name. Rename them in the navigation app and repeat the command. If a place is not found or the saved-place list is unavailable, its name is sent to ordinary search.
Set your home and work destinations in Yandex Automotive or Organic Maps, then say “Go home” or “Go to work”. Use nearby and along-route modifiers for business searches; to request a named saved place, use only the action and its exact name.
The assistant reads temperature, weather description, wind speed in metres per second and humidity from the Weather app. A sample response could report plus 22 degrees, partly cloudy, wind 3 metres per second and humidity 65%. Actual values come from the app.
The word “forecast” also requests current weather. Voice selection of a city, date, tomorrow’s weather or a weekly forecast is not supported. Adding a city or date does not select a separate forecast. The freshness of the answer depends on the Weather app’s data updates.
Report commands are available only while Rox Sensors is installed and enabled. Reports use the sensors selected in that app and its configured thresholds. Before the first request, open Rox Sensors and enable monitoring if you need current readings.
| What to say | Report |
|---|---|
| “Report”, “Summary”, “Show me a report” | Summary |
| “Brief report”, “Short report”, “Give me a short report” | Summary |
| “Detailed report”, “Full report”, “Complete report” | Detailed |
| “Read me a detailed sensor report”, “Report in detail” | Detailed |
A summary describes readings outside the configured thresholds and any missing data. A detailed report lists readings selected under Spoken report sensors in Rox Sensors, provided they are also enabled in the display selection. Warnings from all displayed sensors are retained; other unavailable readings are summarized by their count. Stopped monitoring, lost signals and stale readings are reported explicitly.
Rox Sensors supplies separate text for the screen and for speech. The spoken version expands names and units into words. Lines and sentences of a long report change in the window about every four seconds without repeating the speech; an individual long line may be truncated. A new interaction cancels updates from the previous report. The assistant does not enable monitoring itself. Each page appears once; the window closes about 4.5 seconds after the last page. Total display time is limited to two minutes, and speech continues when the window closes.
For example, select battery and outside-temperature sensors in both the display selection and Spoken report sensors in Rox Sensors, then say “Brief report” for a summary or “Read me a detailed sensor report” to hear the readings. If the provider is unavailable, the assistant reports that it could not retrieve the report.
When a front voice zone is detected, the navigator opens on the main screen; a rear voice zone selects the ceiling screen. If the app is already open on a screen, that screen is used. If it is open on both, the main screen takes priority. An unknown voice zone also uses the main screen.
This launches the app on a cabin screen. Instrument-cluster map output is configured separately in Rox Premium.
Resources are provided for Russian, English and Arabic, using the current system language. Speech recognition quality depends on the vehicle’s built-in assistant.
Home, work, fuel, nearby and along-route commands are supported in all three languages. See the Russian guide and Arabic guide for phrases in those system languages. After changing the system language, restart the infotainment system so the module reloads its command vocabulary. Saved-place names are not translated when the language changes.
Organic Maps does not support along-route search through this module. Yandex Maps and 2GIS receive plain text searches without the dedicated nearby or along-route options.
The module handles navigation, weather and Rox Sensors reports. It does not implement climate, window, volume or music controls, arbitrary app launching or open-ended conversation. The vehicle’s built-in assistant may provide separate functions.
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| No response | Check activation of the built-in assistant, recognition language, module installation and the Assistant licence in Rox Premium. Retry a short phrase from the list. |
| The wrong navigator opens | Check the single-tap navigation-button assignment; it takes priority over the cluster selection. |
| No supported navigation app is available | Install and enable a supported app. Assign Yandex Maps, 2GIS or standard Yandex Navigator to the navigation button if using one of them. |
| Search opens instead of a route | This is expected for an address. For a saved place, check its exact unique title and that it belongs to the selected app. |
| Home or work is unavailable | Use Yandex Automotive or Organic Maps, save the corresponding destinations and use commands in the system language. |
| Several saved places have the same name | Give them distinct names and repeat the command. |
| Nearby or along-route search does not limit results | Yandex Maps and 2GIS receive plain text searches. Use a supported navigator from the feature table for these modes. |
| Organic Maps cannot determine location | Check location permission and wait for GPS before retrying the nearby search. |
| Along-route search is unavailable | Organic Maps does not support it; use nearby search instead. |
| The navigation app changed during a command | Repeat the command after switching apps. |
| Navigation cannot be opened | Check that Rox Premium and the navigator are enabled; try opening the navigator manually. |
| Weather data cannot be retrieved | Open the compatible Weather app, check that data is available and that it can connect to update, then retry. |
